Aren't you glad that on July 9, 1868 because of Roe v. Wade and other court cases that the 14th Amendment was added to the United States Constitution giving you the option to choose wether you could have kept your baby or not? Because I bet with out the back up plan of an abortion, your whole predicament would have been a lot more stressful. Although I think that your decision to have sex with out any kind of protection is extremely risky and irresponsible, I think that you made the best decision for your baby. I am pro-choice and I believe that every women should have the right to decide what they want to do with their own body, but I also think that if you have the means to at least take care of your baby during pregnancy that you should carry it to term and give it up for adoption. Adoption is an excellent alternative to abortion. Not only did you give Vanessa the gift of motherhood, you also gave your child a loving home with someone who can provide for it and look after it more sufficiently than you could as a teenager in high school. For future reference though, maybe the next time you decide to have sex you should probably stop by Planned Parenthood and get some completely free birth control or condoms or any other kind of protection- with which, you wouldn't have been in this situation in the first place.
